summary

This is a story of a time when magic and demons were once real.

Kara, the most powerful knight in the Rosevelt, and her fiancé, Allen, visit Averna to investigate a treacherous wizard named Ozric, who is hiding in the city of Averna.

When they arrive at the entrance of Averna, Ozric suddenly appears, and Allen, her fiancé, is injured by a magical attack. Ozric then tells the two that he has created a magic “great ward” over the entire town, trapping them inside it.

Ozric tells Kara that if she wants him to release the ward and heal her fiancé’s body, she must do what he asks.

In order to save her fiancé from suffering, Kara accepts Ozric’s request.

She does not know that her choice will later lead to her own body being contaminated…
